Textiles Upcyclen- BasiskursNächster Workshop: Joy of Weaving- TextileUpArt Upcycling von Altkleidern, 09.,10.5.2026, Sa u. So 10-17 Uhr Basis Workshop, bei dem ihr verschiedene Methoden lernt, wie man aus alten Kleidern schöne Objekte und Gebrauchsgegenstände weben und flechten kann. Wir beschäftigen uns diesmal mit einer Methode der Ureinwohner Amerikas, die auch in Europa von den Menschen der Vorzeit benutzt wurde(z.B. hatte der Ötzi einen Grasmantel an, der in dieser Technik gefertigt war). Wir ahmen diese Techniken mit in Streifen geschnittenen Altkleidern nach. Ich möchte euch auch den Einblick in weitere Techniken geben, damit ihr entdecken könnt, was euch selbst am meisten Spaß macht., Bitte bringt abgelegte Kleidung und Textilien mit, eine gute Schere, ein paar stabile Stöcke, eventuell Schnur und/oder Draht mit. Der Workshop findet im so genannten Künstlerhaus Traubing, also in meinem Atelier inmitten meiner Werke statt. Bei schönem Wetter auch im Garten. Joy of Weaving - REpairWe are pleased to announce that the artists of the Joy of Weaving REpair project have arrived. You can see them at work this weekend in Südpark/Sendlinger Wald at the SüdpART Biennale. Joy of Weaving- the planet cubeI am pleased to announce that my woven cube "Joy of Weaving - Planet earth" is shown at the Nature Art Cube Exhibition <12x12x12+Nature> at Hongcheon Art Museum, Korea.The six sides of the cube represent the different elements of the planet: yellow for the sun, red for the fire, green for the vegetation, blue for the water, brown for the earth and white for the wind and the sky.
