Objects 2024

In Japan, I received vast amounts of old kimonos donated from various locations. I wove and braided them into large installations, some of which were interactive with visitors. The Fibonaccis were created from donations from people involved in the respective projects, who either invited me or hosted me. There are also T-shirts from Yoshiko Shimada and her husband, whose homes I visited, as well as from Noboyuki Sugihara, Ayaka Nakamura (Primitive Sense Art Festival), and the director of the Small Earth ecovillage.
